The Deceiver

Sometimes you open up a workout and just stare blankly for a second, thinking “holy crap – I’m going to die” – and sometimes, you take a look at your lifting agenda and shrug it off simply, “pfft…I got this.”

Most of the workouts in The Deceiver fall into the latter category, but it’s quite a bait and switch.

Easy on paper, brutal in execution

Hence the name – this workout program makes use of supersets, giant sets, varying rep schemes and more to create a series of workouts that don’t look too bad at first glance but will leave you crawling out of the gym if you hit ’em right.

Except for that back workout – if you’re familiar with the moves there, you’ll know immediately that you’re in for a rough time.  If your back is in need of some extra attention, surviving that session a few times through will help make a difference.

Workouts here include:

  • Furious pecs
  • Quads:  Easy on Paper
  • Blazing Fast Arms
  • Screamin’ Shoulders
  • My Glutes are Cramping
  • Back:  This Looks Awful

Note:  all workout programs include detailed instructions including number of sets, rep targets/ranges, rest periods, and specific instructions on things to focus on or pay attention to during certain movements.  All workouts also include full video playlists where I demonstrate each move and narrate the key elements to think about.
