What exactly are we talking about here?

Figure Boot Camp is a ‘class’ in that it meets at specific times.  Each class is limited to an absolute maximum of 4 people.  The idea behind Figure Boot Camp is that you work out in a small group atmosphere with me leading the way 4 times a week.  Each week we’ll hit every muscle group with the kind of intensity it takes to grow and fill out your physique into that ideal, toned, athletic shape you see gracing the magazine covers.  It’s hard work and it takes some specific knowledge but with the right plan in place, anyone can do it.

In addition to meeting 4 times a week in the group setting, I meet individually with everyone on a regular basis to conduct a diet review, take measurements, talk about specific goals, discuss strengths and weaknesses in your body and develop a plan for correcting them.  Every member will have a very detailed nutrition plan laid out that will eliminate the guesswork of healthy eating.  We’ll also talk about nutrition on a daily basis to do troubleshooting and avoid hitting plateaus.

Who is Figure Boot Camp for?

While an aspiring bikini, figure, or physique competitor will be right at home in this class, there is no competition requirement to participate in the class.  I have no doubt that many who join the class with no intention of competing – just wanting to look as awesome as possible – will eventually have second thoughts about it, but there’s no pressure or commitment to compete.

This is not a traditional boot camp class.  While some days will be dedicated to the introduction of a new cardio interval workout (useful for forcing the body to get rid of the last bits of fat it wants to hold on to), the main structure of the class will be on hypertrophy training (muscle growth) while maintaining structural balance in the physique.  You will definitely see an increase in strength through your work in the Figure Boot Camp, but that will be a by-product of the additional muscle – this is not strictly a strength program.

Where and when is it?

The Figure Boot Camp will be held at the new South location of O3 Health and Fitness at 856 Sweeten Creek Road, just off I-40.

  • 6:00-6:45am (M-F with Wednesdays off)
  • 8:30-9:15am (M-F with Wednesdays off)
  • 4:00-4:45pm (M-F with Wednesday off)
